Terms of Sale

1. Overview & Independent Reseller Disclosure

Door & Valve (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates as an independent US buyer and reseller of closeout, surplus, and overstock commercial door hardware and plumbing valves. Door & Valve is not an authorized distributor or affiliate of Allegion, LCN, Schlage, Von Duprin, Assa Abloy, HES, Watts, Zurn Wilkins, Apollo, Nibco, or any other manufacturer whose genuine factory-sealed products appear in our catalog. Manufacturer names, model designations, and part numbers are used solely to identify the genuine product inside each carton.

2. Orders, Pricing & Allocation

All prices are stated in US Dollars (USD). Because closeout lots consist of finite quantities, inventory is allocated strictly in the order confirmed payments are received via Stripe Checkout. If a simultaneous purchase depletes a lot, we notify the buyer immediately and issue a full refund.

3. Code Compliance & Installation

Buyers are responsible for verifying local building, fire, life-safety (NFPA / IBC / ADA), and plumbing/potable-water (IPC / UPC / state lead-free) code requirements for their specific project prior to installation. All commercial door hardware and backflow/pressure valves should be installed and tested by qualified trade professionals.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable US law, Door & Valve’s total liability for any claim arising out of a product purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific item giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for jobsite delays, labor charges, or consequential damages.
